Add your photograph to your ABSSIN

If you already have an ABSSIN but no photograph on your record, you can add one here. You will need your ABSSIN, your NIN, the phone number on your record, and a device with a camera. No account is needed.

The 10-digit number on your ABSSIN slip or certificate.

We will send a 6-digit code by SMS and WhatsApp to the phone number already on your ABSSIN record. We never send it to a number typed on this page.

What happens next

  1. You enter the code we send to the phone on your record.
  2. You give your NIN, and we check it with NIMC while you wait.
  3. You take a short live photograph with your camera.
  4. An officer checks the photograph — usually within two working days.

If this is not what you need

You do not have an ABSSIN yet. Register for one — the photograph is taken as part of that.

You have lost your ABSSIN. Retrieve it — we will text it to the phone on your record.

The phone number on your record has changed, or your device has no camera. Any revenue office or field agent can do this for you in person.
