Who must register

Every hospitality business operating in Abia State

Pick the description that fits you. Each type asks a few extra questions about capacity, because capacity is what your annual assessment is based on.

Amounts shown are the indicative annual state charge for that category. Your demand notice is calculated by the revenue system and may include local government levies. Where no amount is shown, the rate for that category is still being configured — you can register now and will be assessed once it is.

How it works

  1. Fill the registration form — no account needed. It takes a few minutes.
  2. Confirm your phone number with the code we send you.
  3. The Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy reviews your declaration.
  4. On approval you get a registration number and a business ABSSIN by SMS.
  5. Your demand notice is raised, and you can pay it online here.

What you'll need

  • Your business address and the local government it sits in
  • A phone number you can receive a text on Required
  • Your capacity — rooms, seats or halls, depending on the type
  • The owner's name and contact details
  • Your R.C / BN number and existing ABSSIN, if you have them (optional)
